MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517050310 A) filed by Trutzschler Group Se, Monchengladbach, Germany, on May 26, for 'method for the preventive detection of a standstill in a drafting system of a spinning machine, and drafting system of a spinning machine.'

The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a method for preventing a drafting system of a spinning preparation machine being damaged as a result of lapping, wherein the drafting system (S) has at least two drafting-system rollers (1-4, I-III) that can be pressed against each other, this being achievable by means of a loading device (9a, 9b, 9c), wherein the loading device (9a, 9b, 9c) is connected to an operating-material circuit (28) and the method comprises the following steps: sensing an actual operating-material pressure (p1-Act) in the operating-material circuit (28) by at least one pressure sensor (29); monitoring a change over time of the actual operating-material pressure (p1-Act) by a control device (31) coupled to the pressure sensor (29); if a predetermined threshold value for the change over time of the actual operating-material pressure (p1-Act) is exceeded, switching off the drafting system by the control device (31) and/or triggering a signal by the control device (31). The invention also relates to a drafting system of a spinning machine."
