Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Method For Production Of Blue Ammonia' Filed by Topsoe A/S

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517080772 A) filed by Topsoe A/S, Lyngby, Denmark, on Aug. 26, for 'method for production of blue ammonia.'

Inventor(s) include Jensen, Annette, E. Kroll; and Sorensen, Per, Aggerholm.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a method and system for producing blue ammonia, providing for a higher percentage of carbon capture. The method and system of the invention may be used in any ammonia plant."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 20, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/054248.
