Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Method For Production Of Blue Ammonia' Filed by Topsoe A/S

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517075216 A) filed by Topsoe A/S, Lyngby, Denmark, on Aug. 7, for 'method for production of blue ammonia.'

Inventor(s) include Jensen, Annette, E. Kroll; Sorensen, Per, Aggerholm; Dahl, Per, Juul; and Karuppasamy, Ilayaraja.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a method and system for producing blue ammonia, providing for a high percentage of carbon capture. The method and system of the inven- tion may be used in any ammonia plant."
