MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517091888 A) filed by Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan, on Sept. 25, for 'method for producing primed pluripotent stem cells.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a method for producing primed pluripotent stem cells, the method comprising: (1) a step for preparing naive pluripotent stem cells of primate animals; and (2) a step for inducing primed pluripotent stem cells from the naive pluripotent stem cells prepared in step (1)."
