MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511102934 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 25, 2025, for 'method for producing and administering a neuroactive mushroom-turmeric blend for dual serotonin and dopamine modulation.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Polu Picheswara Rao; and Dr. Shubham Mishra.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method (100) is provided for preparing and applying water-dispersible tablets of Lantana camara coated with Argemonemexicana extract for managing soil-borne pathogens. The method (100) includes washing, drying, and grinding Lantana camara into a powder, mixing it with binders and fillers, compressing into tablets, and coating with Argemonemexicana extract prepared by blending and filtering plant materials. The tablets are shade-dried, stored in airtight containers, and dissolved in water for application to the root zone of plants at concentrations of 100-1000 ppm. This method (100) delivers targeted antifungal action against Phytophthora spp., Fusarium spp., and Pythium spp., reduces chemical fungicide dependency, and improves plant health sustainably. The method (100) is easy to implement, cost-effective, and suitable for integrated disease management in agriculture."
