MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517060835 A) filed by Flender Gmbh, Bocholt, Germany, on June 25, for 'method for producing a non-cylindrical plain bearing, plain bearing, holding tool, computer program product and data agglomerate.'
Inventor(s) include Dinter, Ralf Martin.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method is provided for producing a plain bearing, in particular for a planet gear of a planetary gear mechanism, comprising the steps of providing a substantially cylindrical sleeve (10) in a substantially stress-free starting state, inserting at least two clamping jaws (16, 28) into an interior space (18) of the sleeve (10), bracing the sleeve (10) with the aid of the clamping jaws (16, 28) from a starting state into an elastically deformed processing state deviating from the cylindrical shape, producing a cylindrical outer side (12) of the braced sleeve (10), in particular by a machining process while the sleeve (10) is rotated relative to a tool (22), in particular about an axis of rotation (54) running through a centre of gravity (20) of a cross-sectional area of the sleeve (10), and releasing the clamping jaws (16, 18) for reverse deformation of the sleeve (10) into a substantially stress-free final state for providing the rotational element (26) for a non-cylindrical plain bearing, in particular for a planet gear of a planetary gear mechanism. By means of the elastic deformation of the sleeve (10) with the aid of the clamping jaws (16, 28) during the production of the cylindrical outer side (12), a non-cylindrical plain bearing can be produced with high machining capacity from the sleeve (10) rapidly, simply and with a saving on costs."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 02, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/052571.
