MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421013416 A) filed by Tacc Ltd., Raisen, Madhya Pradesh, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'method for preparing graphene oxide nanosheets.'

Inventor(s) include Kumar, Jitender.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a field of material synthesis. More specifically, the present invention relates to an economic, a safe, a less time taking, an environment friendly method for synthesizing graphene oxide and graphene oxide nanosheets. In addition, the present invention relates to an efficient, a safe and an environment friendly graphene oxide nanosheet with high lateral area. The methods for synthesizing of said graphene oxide and said graphene oxide nanosheets do not require any temperature reduction setup as the synthesis of the graphene oxide and the graphene oxide nanosheets complete at room temperature with the least amount of reactant, solvents and other chemicals."
