Inventor(s) include Selvakumar M; Ksms Raghavarao; Dr. Trivikram Reddy Nallamilli; Dr. Siva Mahesh Tangutooru; and Dr. Vishwa Pria Podduturi.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a stable oleoresin emulsion. The present invention more particularly relates to a method of preparation of stable Oil in Water (O/W) emulsion of Black Pepper Oleoresin (BPO) using natural emulsifiers and natural stabilizing agents. BPO is a combination of essential oils and resin, which are responsible for the total flavour profile and pungency of black pepper respectively. These essential oils and resin are not easily dispersible into aqueous food products due to the presence of hydrophobic components and highly viscous resins. BPO in the form of an emulsion-based carrier system is an effective method for enhancing its bioavailability, shelf life and dispersibility for incorporation into Ready to Eat Ready to Cook foods."
