MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511113115 A) filed by Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on Nov. 18, 2025, for 'method for preparing a niacinamide and aloe vera enriched polymeric hydrogel.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sumita Singh; Mr. Keshaw Pandey; Dr. Kunal Arora; and Ms. Swasti Arora.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses a Niacinamide-Aloe Vera Hydrogel Composition and a method for its preparation. Niacinamide is first dissolved in an aqueous medium and incorporated into a Carbopol-aloe vera gel base prepared by dispersion and neutralization. The active ingredients are uniformly mixed, followed by the addition of stabilizers and preservatives to obtain a stable, homogeneous, skin-friendly hydrogel. The formulation exhibits excellent stability, moisturizing, and antioxidant properties, making it suitable for cosmetic and dermatological applications."
