MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617020110 A) filed by Atop S. P. A., Barberino Tavarnelle, Italy, on Feb. 20, for 'method for making an electric wire coil on a ferromagnetic core and associated winding apparatus.'
Inventor(s) include Corbinelli, Rubino; and Becheri, Massimo.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method for making an electric wire coil (A) of at least one wire (C) around a ferromagnetic core (B) comprising: a step of arranging a ferromagnetic core (B) on a support (3) which is rotatable about a rotation axis (Y), a step of coupling the at least one wire (C) to the ferromagnetic core (B), a step of dispensing the at least one wire (C), a step of rotating, in coordination with the dispensing step according to a predefined rule of motion, the ferromagnetic core (B) to create turns around the ferromagnetic core (B), wherein it comprises, furthermore, a step of adjusting the position of the at least one wire (C) around the ferromagnetic core (B), by virtue of respective position adjusting means (4) and compressing means (5), wherein the position and mutual distance between the position adjusting means (4) and the compressing means (5) are variable as a function of the rule of rotary motion of the ferromagnetic core (B)."
The patent application was internationally filed on July 25, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/071115.
