MUMBAI, India, Jan. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511102406 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 24, 2025, for 'method for formulating and delivering chronotype-specific nutritional blends optimized for circadian rhythms.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Polu Picheswara Rao; and Dr. Shubham Mishra.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses a method (100) for formulating and delivering chronotype-specific powdered nutritional blends synchronized with circadian rhythms. The method comprises assessing an individual's chronotype through validated questionnaires and optionally wearable biometrics, categorizing the user as morning, evening, intermediate, or variable type, and selecting ingredients from a curated library of micronutrients, adaptogens, amino acids, and cofactors. Blends are algorithmically calibrated, manufactured using automated micro-batching, and packaged in pre-portioned sachets with time-specific intake instructions. A digital dashboard integrates user-reported outcomes and wearable data to enable closed-loop optimization, refining ingredient ratios and timing based on feedback. Safety protocols monitor contraindications, while professional oversight ensures compliance and appropriateness. By aligning nutritional intake with biological clocks, the method enhances energy, sleep quality, recovery, and metabolic stability, offering significant advantages over static, generic supplement regimens."
