MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517054489 A) filed by Robert Bosch Gmbh, Stuttgart, Germany, on June 5, for 'method for detecting a malfunction, tank system, computer program product and storage means.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a method for detecting a malfunction of a fuel outlet assembly (16) in a tank system (11) for a fuel cell system (10), comprising the steps: performing a start operation of the fuel cell system (10) and thereby conducting fuel out of the fuel tank (12, 13, 14) through a fuel line arrangement (15); detecting a refilling value concerning a refilling of fuel via the fuel line arrangement (15) into at least one fuel tank (12, 13, 14) during the starting operation; providing a reference refilling value; performing a comparison between the refilling value determined during the start operation and the reference refilling value provided; and detecting a malfunction of the fuel outlet assembly (16) on the basis of the comparison. The invention also relates to a tank system (11) and to a computer program product (23) for carrying out the method, as well as to a computer-readable storage medium (24) on which such a computer program product (23) is stored."
