MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517051172 A) filed by Swancor Innovation & Incubation Co. Ltd., Nantou City, Taiwan, on May 28, for 'method for degrading polyurethane acrylic resin material, polyurethane acrylic resin, composition thereof, preparation method, and composite material.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present invention are a method for degrading a polyurethane acrylic resin material, a polyurethane acrylic resin, a composition thereof, a preparation method, and a composite material. The method for degrading a polyurethane acrylic resin material comprises: providing a polyurethane acrylic resin material, providing a degradation liquid, performing a mixing step, and performing a heating step. The polyurethane acrylic resin material is obtained by curing a polyurethane acrylic resin. The degradation liquid comprises at least a degradation compound, which comprises at least a reactive NH or NH2 group and a reactive OH group. The mixing step is to mix the polyurethane acrylic resin material with the degradation liquid, so as to form a degradation mixture. The heating step is to heat the degradation mixture to a degradation temperature and keep heating same for a degradation time, so as to degrade the polyurethane acrylic resin material. In this way, by heating the degradation liquid which contains the NH or NH2 group and the OH group, the polyurethane acrylic resin material can be degraded, thereby achieving the purpose of recycling same."
