MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311083035 A) filed by Upl Mauritius Limited; and Upl Europe Supply Chain Gmbh, Port Louis, Mauritius, on Dec. 6, 2023, for 'method for controlling fungal diseases in crops.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a method for controlling fungal diseases in crops, the method comprising foliar application of an effective amount of a triazole fungicide to a plant or a plant part or a locus thereof. The present invention also relates to the use of a triazole fungicide for controlling fungal diseases in crops, wherein the formulation is applied as a foliar spray."
