MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517050975 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on May 27, for 'method for controlling audio setting and wearable electronic device supporting same.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable electronic device is provided. The wearable electronic device may comprise a communication circuit, a speaker, and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to determine whether a first user of the wearable electronic device and a second user of an external electronic device are located in the same space. On the basis of determining that the first user and the second user are located in the same place, the at least one processor may be configured to control an audio setting such that an audio signal obtained from the external electronic device through the communication circuit and corresponding to the voice of the second user is not output. The at least one processor may be configured to control the audio setting to output the voice signal through the speaker, on the basis of determining that the first user and the second user are not located in the same space."
