MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441015492 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on March 1, 2024, for 'method and system for sharing broadcast source information during an audio broadcast session.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a method and a system for sharing broadcast source information during an audio broadcast session. The method includes determining, by a sender device, whether the broadcast source information associated with the audio broadcast session is to be shared with at least one receiver device based at least on a user input from a user of the sender device and a request from the at least one receiver device. The method further includes selecting, by the sender device, a transmission medium for sharing the broadcast source information in response to determining that the broadcast source information is to be shared with the at least one receiver device. Further, the method includes transmitting, by the sender device, one or more data packets comprising the broadcast source information over the selected transmission medium."
