MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202647036297 A) filed by Flo Optics Ltd., Petach Tikva, Israel, on March 25, for 'method and system for producing tinted optical coatings.'
Inventor(s) include Hidana, Ilan; Rottman Savion, Claudio; and Chartarifsky, Tamir.
The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Methods and systems for producing an optical construction on a optical substrate, one such method including: (a) microvalving drops of a liquid, dye-containing formulation onto an optical surface of the optical substrate, to form a wet continuous layer; and (b) treating the wet layer to produce a continuous, dried dye containing layer on the optical surface, wherein the optical surface is a curved surface, and wherein the optical surface is a polymeric surface."
