MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441030871 A) filed by Cloudsek Research Pte. Ltd., Singapore, on April 17, 2024, for 'method and system for prioritizing cyber-security events.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments herein provide a system (100) and a method (300) for prioritizing different levels of threats in an organization using one or more dynamic rules. The method (300) comprises identifying one or more cyber-event parameters as identifier tags for one or more cyber-security events in a computing environment of an organization, wherein the one or more identifier tags facilitate in identifying a risk factor associated with each cyber-security event of the one or more cyber-security events. The method (300) also involves creating (304) one or more dynamic rules in response to analysis of the one or more cyber-event parameters and the one or more identifier tags of each cyber-security event. Further, the method (300) comprises applying (306), in real-time, the one or more dynamic rules to the one or more cyber-security events to assign a priority to each cyber-security event of the one or more cyber-security events. The method (300) also involves prioritizing (308) the one or more cyber-security events as per the assigned priority of each cyber-security event."
