MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441037111 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on May 10, 2024, for 'method and system for fixed header field options for sixth-generation radio access network.'

The plurality of headers comprises a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) header, a Radio Link Control (RLC) header, and a Medium Access Control (MAC) sub-header. The method further includes processing, at the L2, data associated with at least one of a User Equipment (UE) and a network entity based on the plurality of configured headers."
