MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411003311 A) filed by Engineers India Limited, New Delhi, on Jan. 17, 2024, for 'method and system for estimating ghg emissions.'
Inventor(s) include Rajasekhar Mallaramu; Rajeev Nayan; Satyabrata Biswas; Aniket Umakant Katkojwar; Debadutta Pahadsing; and Saikat Bhowal.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides techniques for estimating the GHG emissions to facilitate the industries in effectively computing their existing GHG emissions and set baseline targets for them. It discloses the technique of providing essential information to a platform EngCO2??????TM while facilitating flexibility in providing input information with respect to the data availability with the user. Based on the received information, the platform may generate the requisite reports along with the alternative scenarios and a customize net zero emission target for the industry, thus motivating them to contribute towards achieving a cleaner and greener environment."
