MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411073210 A) filed by Upgrid Solutions Private Limited, New Delhi, on Sept. 27, 2024, for 'method and system for enabling bms charger communication protocol.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a system for BMS charger communication protocol in a battery and a charger. The system includes a battery of one or more set of batteries, a charger of a plurality of chargers and a server. The battery includes a battery management system and the charger includes an IOT device. The server includes a memory for storing the instructions executed by one or more processor. The instruction include broadcasting by the charger a first message, reading by the charger one or more parameters of the parameters, sending by the charger a second message to enable the MOSFET, broadcasting by the battery management system a third message containing one or more second parameters of the battery, initiating by the charger the charging of the battery and enabling termination by the charger the charging of the battery."
