MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421031987 A) filed by Jio Platforms Limited, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on April 23, 2024, for 'method and system for detecting anomalies in a telecommunication network.'
Inventor(s) include Bhatnagar, Pradeep Kumar; Bhatnagar, Aayush; Shetty, Manoj; Chitaliya, Dharmesh; Kadam, Hanumant; Virkar, Sneha; and Krishna, Neelabh.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method (400) for detecting anomalies associated with one or more antennas in a telecommunication network is disclosed. The method (400) includes receiving (402) one or more parameter values corresponding to the one or more antennas located on at least one network site from a database. The method (400) includes determining (404) a current height of each of a first antenna operating at a first frequency band and a second antenna operating at a second frequency band based on the one or more parameter values. The method (400) includes calculating (406) a difference in the current height of each of the first antenna and the second antenna associated with the sector. The method (400) includes comparing (408) the calculated difference with a pre-defined height threshold. The method (400) includes detecting (410) one or more anomalies corresponding to the sector based on the comparison."
