MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411073208 A) filed by Upgrid Solutions Private Limited, New Delhi, on Sept. 27, 2024, for 'method and system for charging workflow of a charger in a battery swapping station.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a system 200 for charging workflow of a charger in a battery swapping station. The system is for enabling charging workflow in a battery swapping station. The system includes a battery 118 of one or more set of batteries, a charger 202 of a plurality of chargers 110, a server 208, an instruction signal generator 210 to generate signals. The battery includes a BMS 118a and the charger includes an IOT device 202a. The server includes a memory where the instructions are stored in the memory and the instructions are performed by one or more processor. The instructions include receiving the information, checking the status, waiting for a time period, sending authentication message, switching charging MOSFET, checking terminal voltage, determining status, determining charging mode, and sending signal. The instruction signal generator generates signals pertaining to one or more alerts corresponding to charging mode."
