MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441068972 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Sept. 12, 2024, for 'method and system for a multi-channel audio communication in real-time.'

Further, the method (900) includes receiving (904), in response to the transmitted request an acknowledgement from the receiver device (117). Furthermore, the method (900) includes comparing (906) the audio configuration of the sender device with the audio configuration of the receiver device to determine a mismatch in the audio configurations. Upon determining the mismatch in the audio configurations of the sender device and the receiver device, the method (900) includes converting (908) an audio to be transmitted to the receiver device based on the audio configuration of the receiver device. Moreover, the method (900) includes transmitting (910) the converted audio along with a channel mapping information to the receiver device."
