MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517046556 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on May 14, for 'method and device for transmitting and receiving signals in wireless communication system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method for a terminal to transmit signals in a wireless communication system according to at least one of the embodiments disclosed herein comprises: transmitting terminal capability information related to 8 transmission antenna ports of the terminal; receiving downlink control information (DCI) for uplink scheduling including information about a transmission precoding index (TPMI); and transmitting an uplink signal on the basis of the DCI. The terminal capability information may include information for reporting an antenna port group supporting full power transmission among a plurality of antenna port groups composed on the basis of the 8 transmission antenna ports, and the transmission power of the uplink signal may be determined on the basis of whether the TPMI acquired through the DCI is related to the reported antenna port group."
