MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514092155 A) filed by Robert Bosch Gmbh, Stuttgart, Germany, on Sept. 25, 2025, for 'method and device for testing a connection to a capacitive load.'

Inventor(s) include Becker, Bernd; and Wuerzbach, Thomas.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method and device for testing the control of a capacitive load (10) are proposed, wherein a first terminal (21) of the capacitive load (10) is connectable to a first potential (11) via a first switch (1), and wherein a second terminal (22) of the capacitive load (10) is connectable to a second potential (12), different from the first potential (11), via a second switch (2). In a first step, the first terminal (21) is connected to a third potential (13) between the first and second potentials (11, 12), and the second terminal (22) is connected to the second potential (12). In a second step, the first terminal (21) is connected to the first potential (11), and the second terminal (22) is disconnected from the second potential (12). The potential established at the second terminal (22) is evaluated."
