Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Method And Device For Saving Energy In Wireless Communication System' Filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517069471 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on July 21, for 'method and device for saving energy in wireless communication system.'

Inventor(s) include Yi, Junyung; Kim, Youngbum; and Ryu, Hyunseok.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method performed by a base station in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving first configuration information related to an energy saving of at least one ambient base station from the at least one ambient base station, configuring the energy saving of the base station based on the first configuration information, and transmitting second configuration information related to the energy saving of the base station from the at least one ambient base station."

The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 12, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/000612.
