MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517051410 A) filed by Innovative Technology Lab Co. Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on May 28, for 'method and device for performing sidelink communication on basis of lbt procedure in unlicensed band.'
Inventor(s) include Lee, Won Seok; and Park, Dong Hyun.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An operation of a wireless user device performing an LBT operation in a sidelink unlicensed band in a wireless communication system may comprise: selecting a resource pool and a resource for sidelink communication on the basis of a resource pool and resource selection procedure; performing an LBT procedure in the selected resource pool and resource on the basis of the sidelink unlicensed band; on the basis of the LBT procedure, checking whether continuous LBT failures occur; and when continuous LBT failures have occurred, selecting a resource for sidelink communication on the basis of a transmission resource selection procedure."
