MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517050964 A) filed by Innovative Technology Lab Co. Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on May 27, for 'method and device for performing sidelink communication in unlicensed band.'
Inventor(s) include Park, Dong Hyun; and Lee, Won Seok.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a first wireless user device operating in a sidelink unlicensed band in a wireless communication system, the wireless user device including: at least one antenna for transmitting or receiving one or more wireless signals; at least one processor; and a memory for storing, when executed by the at least one processor, instructions for the wireless user device. An operation of the wireless user device may include: transmitting SL data to a second wireless user device through a PSSCH; receiving SL HARQ-ACK information with respect to the PSSCH on the basis of PSFCH ROC related to the PSSCH; and generating SL HARQ feedback information on the basis of the SL HARQ-ACK information and reporting same to a base station, wherein the PSSCH may be associated with a PSFCH ROC set including multiple PSFCH ROCs, on the basis of the unlicensed band."
