MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517051669 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on May 29, for 'method and device for multi-pilot operation for compensating for non-linearity of amplifier.'
Inventor(s) include Seo, Bongsung; Kim, Suhwook; Park, Seungil; Jang, Hyeondeok; and Hwang, Byeonghun.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a 6G communication system for achieving high data transmission rates and ultra-low latency beyond 4G and 5G communication systems. A method by a base station in a communication system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may comprise the steps of: identifying a first pilot for channel estimation or a second pilot for compensating for non-linearity of a power amplifier (PA); identifying pilot information associated with at least one of the first pilot and the second pilot; and transmitting control information including the pilot information to a terminal."
