MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517042196 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on May 1, for 'method and device for manufacturing secondary battery electrode.'

Inventor(s) include Park, Seung-Seo; and Jang, Ji-Woong.

The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided are: a method for manufacturing a secondary battery electrode having reduced thickness unevenness such as that resulting from sliding or side ringing; a method for manufacturing a secondary battery electrode that enables sliding deviation between a top surface and a back surface of a current collector to be minimized when a slurry is sequentially applied to the top surface and the back surface; and a device suitable for performing the method for manufacturing a secondary battery electrode. The method for manufacturing a secondary battery electrode, according to the present invention, comprises a step of forming an artificial step on a current collector and applying an electrode active material on the step."
