MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414087204 A) filed by Robert Bosch Gmbh, Stuttgart, Germany, on Nov. 12, 2024, for 'method and device for controlling an internal combustion engine with a turbocharger.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method and a device for controlling an internal combustion engine (1) 5 comprises a turbocharger (2) for increasing the filling of a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine are proposed, in which a low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation (4) is additionally provided, through which a portion of the burnt exhaust gases is introduced upstream of the turbocharger (2). When the filling of the combustion chambers is increased, the rate of recirculated exhaust gases is 10 reduced."
