MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611002171 A) filed by Comviva Technologies Limited, Gurugram, Haryana, on Jan. 8, for 'method and artificial intelligence system for management of float for distribution entity.'
Inventor(s) include Fondekar, Rajesh Hari Pai; Singh, Sagun Pratap; Maheshwary, Ojas; and Singh, Nitesh.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are a method (300) and system (100) for management of float for a distribution entity (102). The method (300) includes receiving data corresponding to a distribution entity (102) from a database (204). Further, the method (300) includes predicting, using a trained AI model, a demand corresponding to the distribution entity (102) for a subsequent time period. Furthermore, the method (300) includes determining, using the trained AI model, a float requirement for the distribution entity (102) corresponding to the predicted demand. Thereafter, the method (300) includes comparing the float requirement with available float associated with the distribution entity (102). Moreover, the method (300) includes forecasting an event indicative of a shortage of the available float for the distribution entity (102) based on the comparison. At last, the method (300) includes generating an alert notification for the distribution entity (102) based on the forecast event, wherein the alert notification comprises recommendations."
