MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517042895 A) filed by Shanghai Langbo Communication Technology Company Limited, Shanghai, on May 2, for 'method and apparatus used in nodes for wireless communication.'

Inventor(s) include Wu, Keying; and Zhang, Xiaobo.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application discloses a method and apparatus used in a wireless communication node. A first node receives a first CSI reporting configuration and updates first CSI reporting; the first CSI reporting configuration is used to determine the first CSI reporting; the first CSI reporting configuration comprises a first higher layer parameter and a second higher layer parameter; the first higher layer parameter is set as a first parameter value, the first parameter value belonging to a first candidate parameter value subset; the second higher layer parameter is used for determining a first RS resource group, the first RS resource group being used for channel measurement; the first CSI reporting does not use a type one processing unit prior to a first symbol; and the number of type one processing units used by the first CSI reporting is related to whether the first CSI reporting configuration is used for generating a first function. The described method, satisfies a requirement for a CSI processing capability is met while preventing processing capability waste, and a system design is optimized."

The patent application was internationally filed on July 04, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/105675.
