MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517042916 A) filed by Shanghai Langbo Communication Technology Company Limited, Shanghai, on May 2, for 'method and apparatus used in communication node for wireless communication.'
Inventor(s) include Yu, Qiaoling; and Zhang, Xiaobo.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application discloses a method and device used in a communication node for wireless communication. The communication node selects a second random access resource group in response to a first random access process not being completed, and sends a preamble according to the second random access resource group. The execution time of the behavior of selecting the second random access resource group is related to whether a first condition set is satisfied; if the first condition set is satisfied, the execution time of the behavior of selecting the second random access resource group is not later than first backoff time; if the first condition set is not satisfied, the execution time of the behavior of selecting the second random access resource group is not earlier than the first backoff time; the first condition set is related to the second random access resource group; the second random access resource group consists of K2 radio resources, and K2 is an integer greater than 1. The present application can adaptively adjust the backoff time of executing random access resource selection for PRACH coverage enhancements."
The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 04, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/116663.
