MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517040238 A) filed by Shanghai Langbo Communication Technology Company Limited, Shanghai, on April 25, for 'method and apparatus used in communication node for wireless communication.'
Inventor(s) include Yu, Qiaoling; and Zhang, Xiaobo.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed in the present application are a method and apparatus used in a communication node for wireless communication. A communication node receives a first expiration value, maintains a first timer, and in response to the occurrence of a first event, indicates expiration of the first timer from a MAC sublayer to an upper layer, the first expiration value being used to determine the expiration time of the first timer. The behavior of maintaining the first timer comprises: starting or restarting the first timer in response to the occurrence of any event in a second event set, the second event set comprising two events, namely any MAC entity receiving a MAC SDU of a DTCH logic channel and any MAC entity sending a MAC SDU of a DTCH logic channel. The first event comprises the expiration of the first timer. The first event depends on a state of a first data packet set, or, the behavior of maintaining the first timer comprises: determining a state of the first timer according to the state of the first data packet set."
