MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517044794 A) filed by Shanghai Langbo Communication Technology Company Limited, Shanghai, on May 8, for 'method and apparatus for wireless communication.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed in the present application are a method and apparatus for wireless communication. The method comprises: a first node receiving a first reporting configuration; and sending a first CSI set. The first reporting configuration is applied to the first CSI set; the first reporting configuration is used for determining a first CSI resource group and a first frequency domain resource wherein first CSI resource group comprises at least two CSI resources a measurement on the first CSI resource group being used for calculating the first CSI set; the first reporting configuration is used for configuring CSI reporting for the first frequency domain resource; for each CSI resource in the first CSI resource group the first frequency domain resource comprises at least one PRB through which the CSI resource does not pass; and the PRB through which any CSI resource in the first CSI resource group passes is continuous in the frequency domain. By means of the method the configuration flexibility of CSI resources is improved and a relatively good level of compatibility is maintained."
