MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517042733 A) filed by Shanghai Langbo Communication Technology Company Limited, Shanghai, on May 2, for 'method and apparatus for wireless communication.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed in the present invention are a method and apparatus for wireless communication. A first message is received, the first message being used for indicating a first CSI-IM resource set, and the first CSI-IM resource set comprising a first CSI-IM resource; interference measurement is performed in the first CSI-IM resource; and first CSI is sent. The interference measurement performed in the first CSI-IM resource is used for calculating the first CSI; frequency domain resources occupied by the first CSI-IM resource comprise at least two RB sets, and any two RB sets in the at least two RB sets are discontinuous in a frequency domain. According to the present application, the configurational flexibility can be improved, and relatively good compatibility with an existing system can be maintained."
