MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547096573 A) filed by Quectel Wireless Solutions Co. Ltd., Shanghai, on Oct. 7, for 'method and apparatus for wireless communication.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present application are a method and apparatus for wireless communication, so as to solve the problem of an NTN and other communication systems with a large propagation delay and high device mobility being unable to meet phase continuity requirements due to a phase offset when performing channel estimation on the basis of a DMRS bundling. The method comprises: a terminal device determining a plurality of frequency compensation segments within a first time period on the basis of first information, wherein the first information is related to a DMRS bundling which is used for joint channel estimation, and the first time period comprises a time-domain window corresponding to at least one DMRS bundling; and the terminal device performing pre-compensation, according to the plurality of frequency compensation segments, on an uplink channel corresponding to the first time period."
