MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547087990 A) filed by Quectel Wireless Solutions Co. Ltd., Shanghai, on Sept. 16, for 'method and apparatus for wireless communication.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present application are a method and apparatus for wireless communication. By means of the method, a terminal device can request a network device to reconfigure an operation frequency-domain unit, which facilitates the terminal device vacating a radio-frequency circuit for other networks or for the execution of other operations. The method comprises: a terminal device sending a first request, wherein the first request is used for requesting a network device to reconfigure an operation frequency-domain unit corresponding to the terminal device, the first request comprises first information, and the first information comprises one or more of the following configuration modes: adding at least one operation frequency-domain unit; activating at least one operation frequency-domain unit; deactivating at least one operation frequency-domain unit; and deleting at least one operation frequency-domain unit."
