MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517040969 A) filed by Shanghai Langbo Communication Technology Company Limited, Shanghai, on April 28, for 'method and apparatus for use in wireless communication node.'

Inventor(s) include Wu, Keying; Wang, Ping; and Zhang, Xiaobo.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application discloses a method and apparatus for use in a wireless communication node. The method comprises: a first node receiving first signaling, the first signaling being used for determining a first symbol set, and the first symbol set comprising at least one symbol; and sending a first signal in a first symbol subset, any symbol in the first symbol subset being a symbol in the first symbol set. A first symbol is a symbol in the first symbol set, and the first symbol is a first-type symbol. Whether the first symbol belongs to the first symbol subset is related to at least one of the following: whether the first node monitors a PDCCH in the first symbol; and whether the first signal is assigned in the first symbol at least one RE belonging to a first RE set, the first RE set comprising at least one RE. The method improves the utilization rate of system resources, improves the spectrum efficiency and reliability of uplink transmission, and reduces delay."

The patent application was internationally filed on Aug. 10, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/112237.
