MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517041264 A) filed by Shanghai Langbo Communication Technology Company Limited, Shanghai, on April 29, for 'method and apparatus for use in wireless communication.'
Inventor(s) include Zhang, Jinfang; and Zhang, Xiaobo.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application discloses a method and apparatus for use in wireless communication. A first node receives a first data unit set at a first protocol entity; in response to reception of a first data unit, a first timer is started; in response to expiration of the first timer, a first operation set is executed, wherein the first operation set comprises sending a first instruction to a second protocol entity, and the first instruction is used for instructing to discard a second data unit set. The first data unit is one data unit in the first data unit set; at least some of data units in the first data unit set are used for generating the second data unit set; the first protocol entity is configured to a non-signaling radio bearer; a protocol layer where the first protocol entity is located is located above a protocol layer where the second protocol entity is located; the first protocol entity is a protocol entity at a layer above an MAC. The present application can effectively improve the system capacity."
