Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Method And Apparatus For Transmitting Wake-Up Signal, And Readable Storage Medium' Filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527067476 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on July 15, for 'method and apparatus for transmitting wake-up signal, and readable storage medium.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present disclosure are a method and apparatus for transmitting a wake-up signal, and a readable storage medium. The method comprises: when first-type system information is changed, sending a low-power wake-up signal (LP WUS) to a user equipment. In the method of the present disclosure, when first-type system information is changed, a network device sends an LP WUS to a user equipment to wake up the user equipment in a timely manner, so as to optimize an occasion for sending of the LP WUS by the network device, which is conducive to maintaining the energy conservation of the user equipment on the basis of scheduling the user equipment in a timely manner."
