MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527089075 A) filed by Mediatek Singapore Pte. Ltd., Singapore, on Sept. 18, for 'method and apparatus for supporting different hybrid automatic repeat request modes for multiple transport blocks scheduling in an internet-of-things system.'

Inventor(s) include Tang, Wen.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Various solutions for supporting different hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) modes for multiple transport blocks (multi-TB) scheduling in an Internet-of-Things (IoT) network are described. An apparatus may receive a first configuration from a network node of a wireless network. The first configuration indicates one or more first HARQ modes for a plurality of HARQ processes. The apparatus may receive a downlink control information (DCI) indicating a scheduling of multiple TBs using the HARQ processes from the network node. The apparatus may transmit an uplink (UL) HARQ for each of the HARQ processes using a corresponding one of the TBs. The apparatus may determine when to perform DCI monitoring after the transmission of the UL HARQ corresponding to a last one of the TBs according to the one or more first HARQ modes."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 13, 2024, under International application No.PCT/CN2024/081423.
