MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527076375 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Aug. 11, for 'method and apparatus for sending uplink information, and readable storage medium.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present disclosure are a method and apparatus for sending uplink information, and a readable storage medium. The method comprises: if a network device is in an effective time period of discontinuous transmission (DTX) on a first carrier, from a first time, stopping sending to the network device first-type uplink information corresponding to the first carrier. In the method of the present disclosure, according to an energy-saving mode of the network device during DTX, a user equipment may stop sending the first-type uplink information during the DTX, such that on the basis of energy saving of the network device, unnecessary uplink sending of the user equipment is reduced, thereby reducing the energy consumption of the user equipment."
