MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517074209 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Aug. 4, for 'method and apparatus for determining random access resource, and storage medium.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present disclosure are a method and apparatus for determining a random access resource, and a storage medium. The method for determining a random access resource partition comprises: determining a first random access resource partition, wherein the first random access resource partition comprises one or more random access resource partitions; and determining from the first random access resource partition a target random access resource partition for the current random access. In the present disclosure, in a random access process triggered on the basis of a network slice, a terminal can uniquely determine one target random access resource partition for the current random access, thus improving the reliability of the random access process which is triggered by the network slice."
