Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Method And Apparatus For Determining Network Slice As Group (NSAG), And Method And Apparatus For Configuring NSAG' Filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517073045 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on July 31, for 'method and apparatus for determining network slice as group (nsag), and method and apparatus for configuring nsag.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for determining a network slice AS group (NSAG), a method and apparatus for configuring a NSAG, and a storage medium. The present disclosure specifies a behavior of a terminal selecting a target NSAG suitable for random access, thereby improving the reliability of random access resource selection."
