MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527068662 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on July 18, for 'method and apparatus for communication storage medium and program product.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and apparatus for communication a computer readable storage medium and a computer program product. The method is used in a process of establishing a relay communication connection. During establishment of a relay communication secure link by using control plane signaling a remote communication apparatus obtains a service network identifier of a relay communication apparatus; the remote communication apparatus obtains an authentication request message from the relay communication apparatus wherein the authentication request message comprises network name information; and the remote communication apparatus compares the network name information with the service network identifier and determines according to the comparison result whether to execute a subsequent authentication procedure. Thus the present disclosure avoids potential security hazards caused by a relay communication apparatus providing a service network identifier inconsistent with network name information in an authentication request message."
