MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517090510 A) filed by Nec Corporation, Tokyo, on Sept. 22, for 'method, user equipment and access network node.'
Inventor(s) include Wang Xuelong; Chen Yuhua; Deogun Pravjyot; and Futaki Hisashi.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a user equipment, UE, the method comprising: receiving, from an access network node that provides a source cell, an indication of a first set of one or more candidate target cells for a lower layer mobility procedure; and determining a second set of candidate target cells for the lower layer mobility procedure, wherein the second set of cells is a subset of the first set of cells; wherein the cells in the second set of cells are prioritised for selection as the target cell."
