Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Method, Apparatus And Computer Program' Filed by Nokia Technologies Oy

MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547088133 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on Sept. 16, for 'method, apparatus and computer program.'

Inventor(s) include Elmali, Ugur Baran; Casati, Alessio; Godin, Philippe; Naseer-Ul-Islam, Muhammad; Papa, Arled; Gursu, Halit Murat; and Bulakci, Omer.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A network function apparatus, the apparatus comprising: means for sending, to a radio access network node serving a user equipment, a message comprising a Non-Access Stratum container and an indication outside of the Non-Access Stratum container that the network slice for the user equipment has been replaced with the alternative network slice."
